The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee voted today to scrap the controversial REAL ID law which will require states to begin implementing tough new standardized technology requirements for drivers licenses in just a few months. A number of states have rebelled against the requirements and they risk their licenses not being accepted for federal purposes - including boarding airplanes. The measure that passed today is called the PASS ID bill and would extend deadlines and provide more government funds to help in the transition. Dear members:
Can anyone recommend a lawyer to handle a PERM/Green Card application for an attorney position in the DC area? My employer recently got a quote for 6-8k for legal fees and 10k for the recruitment ads.
Also 10k for Sunday print and other ads seems excessive and I am trying to show my employer that it can be done for less. Can anyone please share a sample add (preferably for an attorney) used for their PERM application?
I'd really appreciate the help,

She will have to go out of country and get stamping for H4 if her spouse is maintaining H1.
Automatic validation does not happen..
I need help for my friend. My Friend's spouse on H4 started to work on EAD. She does not work (or if she gets laid off), will she automatically get her H4 status? If not, what does she need to do to get back on H4. Her husband is on H1.

Hey.
Im new to photography and am looking into photography for local music venues.
I have a D40 with its standard 18-55mm lens but I'm looking for a lens with a better aperture.
I am looking to get the Nikon 55mm f1.8 which is around �80.
As this is not an AF-S lens and can not focus automatically, will it sitll work with the D40 if I use manual focus?

APs are taking twice as much as EADs. Does anyone has any idea why?
