You can submit AR-11 for your change of address and don�t change address on 485 application.

The company can apply for her H-1B on or after April 1, assuming she is subject to the cap. She will be cap-subject if she has never held H-1B status before, and if your company is not cap-exempt. You are fine. You can continue to work in US on the approved I-797. In US visa is required only to enter into United States. Once you cross the customs and walk into US that VISA is nothing. There after everything is I-94. with I797 you got new I-94 and that reflects your status.

I have an approved I-140 and have a pending I-485 filed with NSC, received date 15 Aug 07. NSC I-485 processing date was moved up to Aug 15 a few days ago.
Was wondering if anyone else with similar received dates got an approval or some form of reply from NSC?

My wife will be coming back in April 2nd week through Denver. CO POE. Her AP is valid until June 3rd week.
My question is that is 2 months of AP validity / cushion enough or safe to enter the US.
Will she get a 1 year I-94 validity from the date of entry or only until her AP expires?
This question has also been posted in the member forum and I have posted it here to get advice from the eminent lawyers from a legal standpoint.

Hello All,
I had attended H1 interview in last week of Nov 2007. I had got 221g BLUE form to submit additional documents from Petitioner.
I submitted all documents through VFS drop box in last week of Jan 2008. Does anyone has any idea within how many weeks time we will get some response from Chennai consulate?
I was not asked to submit passport and hence I havent submitted passport.
I appreciate any inputs from any one.

My I-140 & I-485 were filed concurrently in July and I have received the receipt notices last week. I have been told by my manager that I have been considered for a promotion. The job title changes from Sr.Database Administrator to Sr.Database Administrator,Staff. The new job after promotion will have additional/new responsibilities like leading/mentoring the team members in addition to the current job responsibilities. I have the following questions:
(1) Is there any risk to GC processing if the job title changes ?
(2) Is there anything that needs to be done/filed with USCIS to reflect the job title change ?

everyone here talks abt geting GC asap.. even though most of us are swearin at the USCIS/DOS whtevr, deep down we all want GCs. but after thi sJuly VB, do u have faith/trust in the system now? assume that they accept our application and what if they give out GCs 2-3 yrsfrom now, what makes u think they cant come back and say it was a mistake and u have to give ur GC back?
