hi guys,
during stage 3, they require a birth certificate. what if I dont have a birth certificate? do they accept an affidavit from my parents with a domicile cerrtificate or not? i dont even have a school leaving certificate. please give me advices.

File your EAD based on where you live - it does not matter where you 485 is being processed.

Can the primary applicant travel on AP while an MTR is filed to appeal the denial for the dependent? NOD was issued as a result of CIS erroneously stating that the non-immigrant status of the dependent lapsed for over 180 days.

Was on H4. Have an EAD now. Want to renew.
While renewing, on the form, there are 2 questions:
14 Current Immigration Status
15 Manner of Last Entry
(both seem to have the same answer)
Any idea .. what I need to fill here?

My H1 stamping has expired. I have traveled using AP before. Just wanted to know if anyone traveled back with AP via Brussels?
Email I received from Belgium consulate just says "Indian nationals do not need transit visa". I am sure it means they do not bother about H1/AP as long as you have legal entry for the destination. Just wanted to re-check.

Does anyone,please could help me with the following query?
If my I-140 is not approved yet, is Uscis touching my I-485 application....in other words is I-485 being processed (not approved, only processed)even if I-140 is not approved?( I applied concurrently in August 2007, and my priority date is current, Eb3 ROW).

Parents frequently come to the US but I may need to travel to Pakistan for emergencies or perhaps to get married. Should I go to Pakistan or Canada for H-1b stamping or is too risky with the lengthy administrative processing (221-g)?
