Hello,
After initially filing I-485, I got FP appointment for photo, signature and 10 fingerprints.
Will I get another FP appointment notice ? When is it likely ?
How many times do you get fingerprinted for one I-485 application ?
Is there a validity date for FP ?

off the Topic! Sorry. Wondering if any IVian has good idea about itemized deductions we can take while working on 1099-MISC instead of on W-2? There might be good chunk of Spouses working on 1099 in IT or other areas of expertise while working on EAD.what kind of expenses where we need to save receipts while filing Taxes later on in '09.

Current EAD was supposed to expire in Feb so applied 100 days ahead for renewal. To my surprise application got approved in 10 days:D. Hope they've given for 2 years and starting from expiry date of current one....

it states that if you filed after July 30, 2007 then a fee is no longer needed. My I-485 application was filed under the old fee structure. Does it still mean I can file without a fee.

My wife's EB2 I-140 is pending. Now we find that the job description on the labor certificate does not qualify for EB2. We are going to file a new application for Eb3. But the original LC has been submitted in the last EB2 application. Please advise what we should do. Thanks!!!

mate take it easy. my appli's were sent to NSC on august 1st and i still haven't seen any receipts come through for 485, ead nor AP. Although I have received Ead card and done finger printing so that way I know what my 485 appli # is but no info on the AP

If H4 uses EAD for work with 485 pending, and if the underlying I-140 gets rejected, will this make H4 holder be out of status? what are the options for H4 holder.
If I 140 is rejected then the EAD,AP and I 485 are rejected as well. If you have used EAD then ur H4 is no longer valid ! You will have to go out of the country and get H4 stamped.
So the recommendation is to keep H status alive till you get Greencard
